The diagrams on the linked page were all designed by Stephen O’Hanlon, a.k.a Fishgoth. Designer should be corrected to represent this.
I tried to find the definitive origin of this model, but it seems that more than one publication (by different authors) contain this model. For example, Origami Dinosaurs for Beginners (by John Montroll) also contains this model.
If anyone has proof of the origin of this model, or perhaps another clue, I’d love to hear it.
