Senbazuru (line)

Renzuru model of a line of cranes joined tail to wing and wing to head.

A longer line can be created; four cranes by using a 1:4 rectangle, five cranes by using a 1:5 rectangle, etc.

This model can be folded with a thin (crane) or thick (flapping bird) neck and tail. The thin version is more difficult.

Paper & size

When folded from a 24cm by 8cm rectangle, the resulting model ends up 15cm long, 5cm wide and about 2.5cm in height and contains three cranes.
