Pegasus
Model by José Aníbal Voyer Iniesta.
Horse with medium-sized wings.
This model is slightly asymmetrical, as the top mane is folded to one side.
Folding tips
- At step 11, only fold the topmost layer.
- Step 22: this squashes the layer beneath it a bit. See step 23 for the result.
- Step 29 – 31: the model will not lie flat. At step 31, note that the flatten is a squash (which is somewhat compex), but a simple pleat will also work.
- During step 47 – 50 the model won’t lie flat. Note that this first wraps over the top of the hind legs of the model (step 48), then the bottom (step 50). Step 50 is a squash. See these images for the result from different angles.
- Step 53: make sure to not trap the paper, as can be seen in step 55. If you find out you did step 53 incorrect, you can simply unwrap and re-arrange the layers during step 55 until you have the result as seen in step 56.
Paper & size
When folded from a 35cm square, the model ends up 16cm long, about 8cm wide and 9cm in height.
