Folding tips

  • Step 50: start the petal fold from the bottom, fold the horizontal center flap up, and squash the top after that. This fold is simpler than it looks.
  • Step 84 and 85: repeat these on the other side.

Paper & size

When folded from a 26cm square, the model ends up about 7cm long, 8.5cm in height and 5cm wide (due to paper thickness, depending on sculpting).

A thinner paper is recommended.
