Folding tips

Experiment with the length of the pleats made in step 8 and 9. Prefer a longer pleat (and thus making the body shorter), to capture the shape of the creature.

Paper & size

When folded from a 20cm square, the model ends up 8.5cm long, 2.5cm wide (when sculpted) and 5cm in height.

A slightly thicker paper is recommended.
