A thicker paper might give the model a bit more ‘spring’ when tapped.
Folding tips
Steps 8 through 10 of the diagram can be skipped, to create a simpler version without defined hind legs.

When folded from a 20cm square, the model ends up 6.25cm wide and 7cm long.
