Ankylosaurus

Model by Stephen O'Hanlon.

Standing ankylosaurus with distinctive spikes at its sides.

This model has reverse-colored feet. There are four pleats on the back of this model.

Folding tips

  • Step 17: you’ll have to unwrap some of the paper on the underside before sinking, as it was also pleated in the steps before. The easiest way is to unfold the sides including the flaps that will become the legs up until the valley line of the sink.
  • At step 25, make a rabbit ear fold, not a petal fold. When you valley fold in step 27, the points will come out.

Paper & size

When folded from a 35cm square, the model ends up 17cm long, 7cm wide and 5cm in height.
